ABUSUA: Family Circle of Healing

Afrocentric Bonding Using Somatic Understanding of Attachment (ABUSUA) is a communal family process that combines mental health practices with traditional models of family well-being.

Although not necessarily therapy, ABUSUA provides a space to merge culturally rooted wellness strategies, the promotion of narrative sharing, and the development of personal and family resistance, with access to mental health providers.
