Our children’s wellbeing in mental and physical healthy starts with the parents wellness. ABUSUA designs space for families to exchange experiences, normalize their adversity, connect with other families, and become aware of untapped resources.

ABUSUA centers the learning experiences of parents while encourage communal connection. One goal of ABUSUA is to shift the Black community from parental isolation to parenting in community. Community becomes one source of a positive mental healthy factor that can provide a powerful guidance during adversity.
Professional access to multiple modalities of support is critical to family wellness
For Black families to remain in thriving or achieve a high functional space, access to professionals in our community is vital. ABUSUA designs space for parents to interact with a community healer: therapist, social workers, coaches, and wellness practitioners with the goal of forming awareness, relationships, and access.
