Danyika Leonard

Danyika Leonard (dan-yee-kah) is a wife, mother, daughter, sibling, cousin, organizer, collaborator, restorative practitioner, and connector.  Her work has focused both on working directly with the community and in the community and on building innovative and transformational collaboratives of state, county, and local organizations. She has experience in grassroots community organizing, coalition building, housing & workforce development, policy design and implementation, design thinking, and youth and family empowerment.

Danyika and her husband Alex strive to cultivate a nurturing, loving, and safe home for their two children, ages 14 and 10, so they have access to safe, affirming, and regenerative home and community environments.
